On the Sixth Day of Christmas…

December 18, 2013

chimesI’m giving away a book by another of my favorite authors (surprise, surprise).  Today, I’m giving away my advanced copy of Chimes of Midnight by the amazing Seanan McGuire.
This is the seventh in the October Day series.
Dead changlings are showing up in the streets of San Francisco and seriously messing with Toby’s life.  She’d finally reached a more-or-less good place, so, of course, it can’t last.  Her attempt to do something about the deaths leads to a sentence of exile from the Queen of Mists which threatens to destroy everything she’s built.
So, that’s amazing, because Seanan is amazing and should have ALL THE COOKIES.
But then!  Then she added a library!  An amazing library.  The Library of Stars.

To win this book leave me a comment describing your dream library.
Here are the other giveaways you can still enter:
Rot & Ruin by Jonathan Maberry
Wednesdays in the Tower by Jessica Day George
House of Many Ways by Diana Wynn Jones
Soulless manga by Gail Carriger

And now:  the winner of the Naomi Novik giveaway: Emily Ragsdale!  Just send me an email with your address to medusasmirror@gmail.com and I’ll pop it in the mail!  Thanks so much for entering.

My dream library has three walls of cherry wood book shelves and one wall with tall windows and French doors that lead out into a garden. The garden has a table for reading and writing on lovely days. Of course there’s a work table inside the library as well, and tall wing chairs with nearby footstools, for comfy reading. And since this is a dream library, book shelves always offer up the book I need or want, just when I want it.
